ARMORTEX® SLIDING WINDOW
with HOLLOW METAL FRAME
Armortex® manufactures this unit in a 16 ga. prime, painted, or stainless steel, hollow metal frame with or without a 16 ga. stainless steel dip tray mounted in a high pressure laminate clad shelf (stainless steel optional). The shelf can be eliminated if a 4-sided frame is desired. Available in all sliding configurations. Glazing is available in levels 1 and 3. Designed for interior wall applications and allows "Natural Voice" communication.

Bullet Resistant TRANSACTION WINDOW
((SHORT FORM))
GENERAL: Furnish window complete with glazing, shelf and dip tray. Provide for two way "Natural Voice" communications by the design of the frame and glazing technique. The ballistic protection level shall be UL Level 1 or 3 ((specify)). Model #SSTW-19. Refer to drawing for size and sliding panel configuration. PRODUCT: The frame shall be of the "non-richocet" type, lined with UL Listed Bullet Resistant Composite. Frame to be brake formed 16 ga. primed steel ((optional 16 ga. stainless steel - specify)). Glazing must be removalbe from the secure side and not requre the removal of the frame from opening. Glazing material to be UL Listed Level 1 or 3 ((specify)) laminated polycarbonate. All exposed edges of glazing shall be polished to a satin finish. The bottom of the glazing to be capped with no less than 20 ga. stainless steel with a #3 finish. Provide a shelf 2" thick with a recessed dip tray. The shelf to be full width of window, 12" deep, centered under the glazing and covered with a black high pressure laminate. ((optional stainless steel 18 ga. #3 finish - specify)). Dip tray to be 16 ga. stainless steel, #3 finish, 10"x16" from the outside edge of flanges with a clear open depth under the glazing of 1-5/8".
EXECUTION: Install and clean in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
