Aluminum Fixed Windows Blast Resistant
ARMORTEX® ALUMINUM FIXED DEPTH, FIXED WINDOWS

This clear, anodized extruded frame is manufactured for all glazing types up to 1-3/4" thick, levels 1, 2, or 3. Available in all sizes, single and multiple lights for interior applications. The frame depth is 4-1/2" with a 1-1/2" profile.

Bullet Resistant FIXED WINDOW

GENERAL: Furnish and install fixed window of the "" type complete with glazing. The ballistic protection level shall be UL Level ((specify)). Model SSFW ((indicate size or refer to drawing)) manufactured by Armortex®, San Antonio, Texas, phone 210-661-8306, 1-800-880-8306 Fax, 210-661-8308.

PRODUCT: Frame shall be brake formed 16 ga. steel prime painted ((optional 16 ga. stainless steel,)). Frame to be lined with UL Listed Bullet Resistant Composite. Corners shall be continuously welded the full length of the intersection and ground smooth. Knocked down, mechanical joints and aluminum frames are unacceptable. The glazing to be UL Listed Level ((specify)) laminated glass ((polycarbonate or other-specify)).

EXECUTION: Install and clean in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
