Armortex® is the original manufacturer of UL Listed Bullet Resistant Fiberglass Panels.
This material is manufactured using a woven roving ballistic
grade cloth we manufacture in-house. The cloth is
mechanically injected with resin and placed in a
hydraulic hot press, then pressed into flat rigid 3' x 8', 4' x 8', 3'x9' and 4'x9'
sheets. By using an anti-ballistic grade fiber in
our cloth, we can maximize our ballistic performances by consistently
achieving a uniform resin to fiber ratio. This allows the proper ply
delamination to encapture projectiles.
At Armortex®, we offer UL Listed Bullet Resistant Fiberglass Panels available in protection levels 1-8.
Our Armortex® Bullet Resistant Fiberglass Panels
are approved by the U.S. Marshal Service, the General Services
Administration, and complies with NIJ standards. Our Bullet Resistant Fiberglass panels are compliant with ASTM E119A for one hour fire wall construction.
